Terms and Conditions of Use for Blissful Happiness
1. Introduction
Welcome to Blissful Happiness. We specialize in luxury property rentals in the Algarve and organizing exclusive events. These terms and conditions govern the use of our services and the properties we make available. By booking or using our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Services Offered
2.1. Luxury Rentals
We offer high-end properties for private stays, including villas, apartments, and unique properties located in exceptional settings.
2.2. Event Organization
Blissful Happiness organizes events such as weddings, seminars, private dinners, photo shoots, and film productions. Any specific requests can be discussed to meet your expectations.
3. Reservations
3.1. Booking Process
Reservations can be made online through our platforms or via direct contact at [email protected].
A reservation is confirmed upon receipt of the required payment and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3.2. Cancellation Policy
Guest Cancellation
Cancellations made more than thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled arrival date are eligible for a full refund, excluding any non-refundable service or processing fees where applicable.
Cancellations made less than thirty (30) days before the arrival date will result in the forfeiture of 100% of the total booking amount.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and will be effective as of the date of receipt.
Owner Cancellation
The Owner reserves the right to cancel a confirmed reservation prior to the guest’s arrival, only in exceptional and justified circumstances, including but not limited to:
In such cases, the guest will be fully refunded all amounts paid, and no further compensation, damages, or claims may be sought against the Owner or Blissful Happiness.
The Owner shall not be held liable for any additional costs incurred by the guest (including travel, accommodation, or alternative arrangements).
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for cancellations resulting from force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, governmental restrictions, utility failures, or events beyond reasonable control. In such cases, refund terms will be assessed in good faith and in accordance with applicable law.
4. Use of Properties
The rented properties must be used exclusively by the persons listed at the time of booking. Any commercial use, subletting, or unauthorized activity is strictly prohibited. Respect for the property, neighbors, and local rules is mandatory.
5. Liability
5.1. Blissful Happiness
We are committed to providing the properties and services described at the time of booking. However, we cannot be held responsible for:
- Unforeseen interruptions due to force majeure (weather conditions, breakdowns, etc.).
- Damage or loss caused by third parties.
5.2. Client
Clients are responsible for any damage caused to the rented property. A security deposit may be required and will be refunded after an inspection of the property at the end of the stay.
6. Event Organization
For any event organized at our properties:
- Written authorization is required.
- Additional fees may apply for logistics and cleaning.
- Sound levels and hours must comply with local regulations.
7. Privacy Policy
We respect the confidentiality of your personal data. It will only be used for the management of your booking and to improve our services. We will not share your data without your explicit consent.
8. Disputes
In case of a dispute, an amicable solution will be preferred. If no agreement is reached, the competent jurisdiction will be that of the location of the rented property.
9. Unauthorized Commercial Use and Events
The rental of the Property is strictly for private, personal, and non-commercial use only. The organization of any event (including but not limited to parties, commercial gatherings, ticketed events, brand activations, music events, or promotional collaborations) without the express written authorization of Blissful Lifestyle is strictly prohibited.
Any breach of this clause, including unauthorized partnerships with third-party entities shall be considered a material breach of contract.
In the event of such a violation, the guest will:
• automatically forfeit the entire security deposit;
• be subject to a minimum additional penalty of €5,000, which may be increased depending on the scale of the breach (e.g., number of guests, commercial intent, reputational impact, or damages caused);
• be liable for any legal fees, reputational harm, and third-party claims arising from said breach;
• and may be subject to legal action or permanent blacklisting from all Blissful Lifestyle properties.
Blissful Lifestyle reserves the right to pursue legal action and notify booking platforms of fraudulent or dangerous activity.
10. Surveillance Cameras
For security purposes, some properties are equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras covering the entrances, main access points, and exterior common areas.
No cameras are installed in private indoor areas such as bedrooms or bathrooms.
By booking this property, you explicitly agree to the presence of this security system. Recordings will only be accessed in the event of an incident or a violation of the rental terms, and in accordance with applicable data protection laws (GDPR).
12. Violation and Termination
In case of serious breach of the rental agreement (including unauthorized events, overcrowding, or illegal activity), the owner reserves the right to immediately terminate the contract and request the guest to leave the property without compensation.
